Dubai

The GRC head office is in Dubai. This is the birthplace of the Gulf Racing Club and where we had our first runners. The operation focuses on building a string in the region and competing at the “Carnival” in Dubai. Meydan Racecourse is one of the modern racecourse wonders of the world, and being able to compete with host owners at the facility is a privilege. Our head trainer in Dubai is Fawzi Nass. Fawzi is based in Bahrain; he also has stables set up at Meydan and in Saudi Arabia. Currently, the focus of GRC is to import horses into Dubai for the season and then export them to our Australian base upon completion of the Carnival to compete in the stakes-rich environment of the Australian racing scene.

Melbourne

Our presence “Down Under” is based in Melbourne, with the Griffiths De Kock team. The yard is based at Crambourne, a world class training facility. Mat De Kock is a well-travelled trainer, seeing the world while working under his father Mike.

Our focus with the Melbourne operations has been to export our Dubai based runners after the Carnival. Magical Land has been a well performed flag bearer for the exercise and we look forward to expanding our string of horses with further imports as well as newly purchased young stock.

Cape Town

The South African office is headed up by Kurt Felix. Opened in late 2022, the team recruited three new horses from the CR Ready To Run Sales, which were all fully syndicated within three days. Currently all of the racing stock in South Africa is based in Cape Town. It is without a doubt the premier racing jurisdiction in the country with the highest prize money on offer, plenty of incentives and of course, based in one of the worlds leading travel destinations. Racing from the GRC private suite on one of the big days is a truly enjoyable experience. Our trainers in the region are none other than South African leading trainer Justin Snaith, the highly successful Vaughan Marshall and Lucinda Woodruff, a new and young trainer making her mark on the racing scene.
