A CRS Premier Yearling Sale graduate. Recently purchased from the country’s top select sale, this colt becomes an automatic qualifier for the CRS Slipper to be run on Met Day next year. From the farm that bred this year’s winner, Little Ballerina! By a prolific sire of juveniles, this flashy colt is out of a mare who ran second in the SA Oaks!
A blend of speed and stamina. He is a well-balanced colt who moved very well. He had a touch of immaturity about him, which is to be expected from an October foal that has been presented at an early sale. This may have pushed a few buyers onto other lots, which allowed the team to bank him at a great price! He goes into training with a fantastic young trainer who knows how to deliver big “Grade One” races.
As a CRS graduate, he qualifies for an R100 000 bonus when winning as a juvenile. As mentioned before, he is also eligible for the CRS Slipper to be run for R1 500 000 on Met Day in 2025.
